Rose Quartz

Rose quartz is one of the most desired of the quartz family, it comes in a pink to rose red colour and is used as an ornamental stone and gemstone, but is usually too cloudy to be used as a faceted gemstone. If rutile needles are in the rose quartz, a star effect is sometimes visible when light is viewed through the stone. Rose Quartz is supposed to be good for those who have trouble loving themselves or accepting love from others. It is a deep inner healing stone, gentle and calming.
