Moonstone and Labradorite

MOONSTONE

Moonstones are the most valuable stones in the feldspar family and are opalescent stones ranging in colour from clear to pink, blue, green, yellow, grey and brown brown with an iridescent sheen, known as adularescence. Rainbow moonstones are milky white with a rainbow sheen. The Romans believed Moonstones were formed from moonlight. The gemstone is meant to bring good fortune and is very balancing. According to folklore, if on a full moon if you hold a moonstone in your mouth, it will show you the future.

LABRADORITE
Spectrolite is the most valued type of labradorite. It is a translucent feldspar with a strong iridescence and generally a brownish color with a blue flash of labradorescence. Labradorite is meant to encourage one's strengths and originality to appear and assist sleep.
